The short answer
Microblading is a semi-permanent brow treatment that draws fine, hair-like strokes into the skin to fill and shape sparse brows. It takes two sessions about four to six weeks apart. At MG Makeovers in Gurugram it costs ₹19,999 with both sessions included, and is done by founder Madhu Gupta, a Phi-Academy certified artist.
What is microblading?
A hand tool with a row of very fine needles is used to place pigment in thin strokes that follow the direction of your natural brow hair. Done well, the strokes blend with your own hairs and the brow looks fuller rather than drawn on. It is semi-permanent: the pigment sits in the upper layers of skin and fades gradually, unlike a traditional tattoo.
People usually consider it for:
- Sparse-looking brows
- Additional visible definition
- A hair-stroke-inspired appearance
- A more consistent brow shape
- Reducing parts of a daily eyebrow makeup routine

- 06Second SessionMicroblading needs a minimum of two sessions, both are included in the ₹19,999 price. The second is often scheduled 4–6 weeks after the first to refine shape and colour.
How microblading heals
Fresh brows look sharper and darker than the final result. Over the following weeks the treated skin flakes as it renews, and the strokes can look patchy or almost disappear for a while before the colour settles back in.
That is normal, and it is why the second session exists: once the first round has healed, the artist can see exactly where pigment held and refine the shape and colour. Everyone heals at a different pace, so follow the aftercare your artist gives you.

Aftercare
- Keep water, lotion, soap and makeup away from the brow area for the first 7 days.
- Avoid sleeping on your face and keep your hair pulled back from your brows for the first 10 days.
- Avoid makeup and skincare products on the treated area for two weeks.
- Avoid facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
- Avoid swimming and intense workouts for a short period after treatment.
What you are paying for
Microblading lasts long enough that a poor result is hard to live with, so the price is worth reading closely before you compare studios.
- Is the second session included, or charged separately later?
- Who does the work, and what is their certification?
- Is there a consultation and brow mapping before any pigment goes in?
- Is the pigment colour matched to your natural brows?
- Are needles single-use and opened in front of you?
- Can you see healed results, not just fresh ones?

Microblading questions, answered
How much does microblading cost in Gurgaon?
Microblading at MG Makeovers costs ₹19,999, and that includes both sessions it needs. Nanoblading is also ₹19,999 and microshading is ₹19,999. All prices are exclusive of 5% GST. A 2–3% transaction charge applies to card payments.
Why does microblading need two sessions?
Skin holds pigment unevenly the first time, so a second session is booked, usually four to six weeks later, to fill gaps and refine the shape and colour once the first round has healed. At MG Makeovers both sessions are included in the price.
Does microblading hurt?
A numbing cream is applied before the strokes are drawn, so most people describe a scratching sensation rather than pain. Sensitivity varies from person to person.
How long does microblading last?
Microblading is semi-permanent and fades gradually. How long it stays visible depends on your skin type, sun exposure, skincare and aftercare, so your artist will talk you through what to expect for your skin at the consultation.
What is the difference between microblading and microshading?
Microblading draws fine hair-like strokes for a natural, textured brow. Microshading builds a soft, pixel-shaded fill that looks more like brow powder. Some people combine the two.
Who should not get microblading?
Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, take blood thinners, have a skin condition on the brows or heal slowly. Very oily skin can blur hair strokes, so microshading may suit it better. The consultation is the place to check this.
Who does microblading at MG Makeovers?
Microblading is performed by founder Madhu Gupta, a Phi-Academy certified artist, at the MG Makeovers studio in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram.
