MG Makeovers (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates beauty services at our Gurgaon studios and an online/offline retail store for professional beauty products and accessories. This policy explains when exchanges or refunds are available. It does not limit rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

  • Returns: Not accepted

  • Exchanges: Accepted on unused & sealed eligible products within 3 calendar days of delivery/purchase

  • Defective/Damaged/Wrong item: We’ll replace or issue store credit/refund if replacement isn’t possible

  • Services: No cash refunds once a service is provided; we offer corrections/touch-ups per the policy below


1) Scope

This policy covers:

  • In-studio services (makeup, nails, lashes, brows, facials, laser, PMU, etc.)

  • Retail products bought in-store or online

  • Training/courses, gift cards, packages/memberships


2) Services (In-Studio)

  • Booking fee/advance: Non-refundable. One free reschedule with ≥24 hours’ notice (subject to availability). No-shows or late cancellations forfeit the advance.

  • Satisfaction & corrections: If you face an issue with the outcome, contact us within 72 hours. After assessment, we’ll provide a reasonable correction/touch-up at no extra cost where appropriate.

  • No refunds for services already performed.


3) Product Exchanges (Returns Not Accepted)

We accept exchanges only within 3 calendar days of delivery/purchase, when all conditions are met:

  1. Item is unused, unopened, sealed, and in original packaging with all accessories/freebies.

  2. Valid invoice/order ID is provided.

  3. Exchange request is raised within the stated window (see “How to request”).


Non-exchangeable / Non-returnable items (for hygiene/safety): opened/used cosmetics/consumables; sterile or hygiene-sensitive items once unsealed (e.g., PMU pigments, cartridges/needles, lash trays/adhesives, brow/lamination solutions, gels); personal-care tools once used; gift cards, downloadables, custom orders, sale/clearance items, and free gifts.


4) Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Item

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, product, and shipping label (unboxing video recommended if outer box is damaged).

  • After verification, we’ll replace the item at no cost.

  • If the same item is out of stock, we’ll offer store credit (default) or a refund to the original payment method on request.

Claims without evidence or raised after the window may not qualify.


5) Order Cancellations (Products)

  • Before dispatch: Full refund to original payment method.

  • After dispatch / in transit: Treated as an exchange (shipping fees non-refundable).

  • Refused deliveries / undeliverable COD: Forward/return shipping and handling may be deducted before any credit is issued.


6) How to Request an Exchange or Claim

  1. Contact us within the relevant window (48 hours for damage/defect; 3 days for normal exchange) with your order ID, reason, and photos/video.

  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and share the return-to address.

  3. Pack securely with all original packaging and use a trackable courier.

  4. After QC approval, we’ll ship the replacement or issue credit/refund.


Shipping costs:

  • For normal exchanges, the customer bears two-way shipping.

  • For verified defect/damage/wrong item, we bear shipping or arrange reverse pickup where available.


7) Refunds, Credits & Timelines

  • Replacements/Exchanges: Dispatched within 2–4 business days after QC approval.

  • Refunds (where applicable): Initiated within 5–7 business days after QC approval; bank processing times may vary.

  • Store credit: Issued within 2 business days, valid for 6 months.
    Shipping, COD charges, and gift-wrap are non-refundable.

COD orders: If a refund/credit is due, store credit is issued by default.


8) Training & Courses

  • Fees are non-refundable once enrollment materials or dates are confirmed.

  • Reschedule up to 7 days before the start date (subject to availability).

  • Seat transfer to another participant allowed before commencement (on written request).


9) Gift Cards, Packages & Memberships

  • Non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.

  • Validity and usage terms appear on the card/plan. Expired benefits cannot be reissued.
