What Are UV Eyelash Extensions?
UV eyelash extensions use a specialised UV/LED curing system to set the lash adhesive during application, instead of relying on conventional air-curing. A photo-cure adhesive is applied to each extension and remains inert until it is exposed to the UV LED wand, at which point it cures almost instantly.
Because the adhesive is cured lash by lash as your artist works, the application is more controlled: no 24–48 hour waiting period, no keeping your lashes dry, and far less exposure to the fumes of uncured adhesive. The result is a strong, clean bond and a set that is ready for real life the same day.

What are UV eyelash extensions?+
UV eyelash extensions are lash extensions applied with a photo-cure adhesive that is set instantly using a UV LED wand during application. Instead of air-curing over 24–48 hours like traditional adhesive, each bond is cured on the spot, giving the artist more control and you a set that is ready for water the same day.
Are UV lash extensions better than traditional lash extensions?+
They are an advanced alternative rather than a verdict on traditional lashes. UV curing removes the 48-hour water restriction, dramatically reduces fume exposure during application, and creates a strong, controlled bond. Both services use the same premium lash stock and the same certified artists, the difference is the curing technology.
How long do UV lash extensions last?+
Your natural lashes shed and regrow on their own cycle regardless of the adhesive used, so a full set lasts around three weeks before a refill makes sense. What UV curing improves is how well each extension holds its individual bond over that cycle, so the set stays fuller for longer within it.
Are UV lash extensions waterproof?+
Yes. Because every bond is fully cured before you leave the studio, there is no drying-out period. You can shower, swim and exercise from the same day, we simply recommend patting your lashes dry rather than rubbing them.
Are UV lash extensions safe?+
The UV LED system is a controlled, professional tool operated by trained artists, and the photo-cure adhesive produces no uncured fumes during the service. As with any lash service, tell your technician about any eye conditions or sensitivities, we can perform a patch test and adjust the service where needed.
Do UV lash extensions damage natural lashes?+
Not when applied correctly. We assess your natural lash health before application and never attach extensions your natural lashes cannot comfortably support. Extensions are also removed professionally, never pulled off at home.
How long does a UV lash extension appointment take?+
Plan for 60–90 minutes for a Classic UV set and 90–120 minutes for a Volume UV set, including consultation and lash mapping. UV curing adds only moments per lash, most of the appointment is the careful, individual placement.
Can I get Classic, Hybrid or Volume UV lashes?+
Yes. The UV curing process works across lash styles, so you can choose natural Classic, textured Hybrid or fuller Volume UV lashes. Your artist will recommend the right density for your natural lashes and eye shape at consultation.
How should I care for UV lash extensions?+
Clean them gently with a lash-safe cleanser, brush daily with a clean spoolie, avoid oil-heavy products around the eyes, and never rub, pull or pick at the set. Unlike traditional extensions there is no water restriction, just pat, do not rub, after getting wet.
How often do UV lash extensions need maintenance?+
Book a refill between day 12 and day 25 of your set. Within the first 11 days, anything that lifts is corrected free as part of our application guarantee. Past 25 days there is usually too little of the original set left to build on, and a new full set works out better.
