Long wear starts with prep, and prep depends on your skin. Tell us about your skin, any reactions and any medication at the consultation.
- Oily skin
- Mattifying prep, oil-control primer in the T-zone and a long-wear base that is set in layers. Blotting papers go in the touch-up kit.
- Dry skin
- Extra hydration during prep, a satin rather than matte base and minimal powder so the skin does not look flat or patchy by evening.
- Combination skin
- Different prep for different zones: hydration on the cheeks, oil control on the forehead and nose.

Bridal Makeup Timeline
3–6 months before
Book your bridal artist. Wedding-season weekends go first, and venue bookings depend on availability.
60–90 days before
Start a pre-bridal package if you want one: facials, hair spa and body care need time to show.
4–6 weeks before
Consultation: share outfit photos, jewellery, the ceremony timings and reference looks. Finalise HD or airbrush.
Final 2 weeks
Threading, waxing and facials done. No new skincare, no new treatments, no experiments.
The day before
Hydrate, sleep and keep the face clean. Wash hair the day before unless your artist says otherwise; no oil.
Wedding day
Arrive with a clean, moisturised face, wearing a front-open top. Allow 2–2.5 hours before you need to leave.

Bridal HD makeup by a Senior Artist is ₹20,000 at the studio and ₹25,000 at your venue. By Madhu Gupta it is ₹30,000 at the studio and ₹35,000 at your venue. Bridal airbrush is ₹25,000 (Senior Artist) or ₹35,000 (Madhu Gupta) at the studio, and ₹30,000 or ₹40,000 at your venue. Prices are per person and exclude 5% GST.

What is the difference between a Senior Artist and Madhu Gupta?

Madhu Gupta is the founder and lead artist of MG Makeovers. Senior Artists are trained by her and follow the same methods and product kit. Madhu Gupta's own bookings are priced higher and her dates fill first in wedding season.
How long does bridal makeup take?

Allow 2 to 2.5 hours for bridal makeup and hairstyling. Elaborate hairstyles, extra draping or family members in the same slot add time, so share the full plan when you book.
How far in advance should I book my bridal makeup artist?

Three to six months ahead for wedding-season dates, especially weekends. Book earlier if you want Madhu Gupta specifically or a pre-bridal package, which needs 60 to 90 days to show results.
How do I confirm my bridal booking?

A 50% advance payment confirms your date. Venue bookings are subject to availability, so check your date early.
Do you come to the wedding venue or hotel?

Yes. Venue bookings are available across Gurugram and Delhi NCR, subject to availability. Venue prices are listed separately on the rate card. Ask about destination weddings outside Delhi NCR when you enquire.
Will my bridal makeup last through the whole wedding?

Bridal makeup is built with long-wear prep, waterproof eye products and layered setting for long ceremonies, photographs and dancing. Wear still varies with weather, skin type and how much you touch your face, so keep a lipstick and blotting papers with you.
Can I book makeup for roka, mehendi, haldi, engagement and sangeet too?

Yes. Roka, mehendi and haldi start at ₹10,000, and engagement, cocktail and sangeet start at ₹15,000 (Senior Artist, HD, at the studio). Each ceremony is booked as its own appointment.
Can my family and bridesmaids get ready with me?

Do I need pre-bridal skincare before bridal makeup?
